Inter–laced is the follow project up to the language based exhibition, 'May I have Your Attention'. Inter–laced is a typographic experiment and response to the increasing quantity of environmental messaging systems that 'push' information and language to us on a daily basis. The typefaces, composition and content have been crafted to reflect the layering and density of this kind of information and act as static points of reference in a printed and 3d form. The results also attempt to humanise the communication between machine and individual by presenting multiple meanings and personal, coded messages.
